How to make a cell read-only in an Excel sheet (lock cell)

Steps

1. Select the respective cell (e.g., ${rez.X}).
2. Right-click the cell to open the context menu and click on the option “Format cells…”.
3. Open the tab “Protection” and tick the checkbox Locked. By unticking the checkbox the cell will become editable again.
4. Click OK to save the settings.
